Thirty minute sessions twice a week for two weeks.
Join together weekly to chat, read a good book, and reconnect with friends. In this group, students will learn about reading strategies such as questioning, making predictions, visualizing, monitoring comprehension, synthesizing, making connections, inferring, and determining importance. They will discuss what they read and have an opportunity to participate in fun and engaging reading activities related to identifying the mood, tone, key details, and main ideas of what they read. Students will have the chance to share their thoughts, ideas, and favorite parts of the book in an online community using Flip Grid.
