Stephanie Maxwell
Elementary School Tutor and Client Specialist
Mrs. Maxwell graduated from the University of Mary Washington in 2007 with a Master in Elementary Education. She also majored in History as an undergrad, focusing on American History at the turn of the 20th century. Mrs. Maxwell has taught locally in Spotsylvania County for many years. She served students as an elementary classroom teacher for four years in third grade, a SOL remediation specialist and is a current substitute teacher for Spotsylvania County Schools. When she left the classroom as a full-time teacher to stay home with her two children, Mrs. Maxwell became heavily involved in the community. She is passionate about early childhood development and focused on fundraising and volunteering at the Fredericksburg branch of the Children’s Museum of Richmond. She was asked to serve on the Board of Trustees for the Children’s Museum of Richmond in 2018 and resigned in 2020 with the closure of the Fredericksburg location. Mrs. Maxwell continues to volunteer as a Girl Scout leader and classroom volunteer. Mrs. Maxwell firmly believes that all children can achieve their goals and will work diligently to help your child succeed. In her free time, Mrs. Maxwell loves to run, read and spend time with her family.Â
